The 17th edition of Vukovar Film Festival will be held from 24 to 27 August in that eastern Croatian city.

The partner-countryВ of this year’s edition of theВ festival of films from the 10 DanubianВ countries is Germany.

The competition programme will start with the presentation of The Magic Flute by German filmmaker Florian Sigl.

Thirteen films will be competing for the Golden Barge award.

During the festival, the audience will be able to enjoy films from Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine, the organisers said on Wednesday.
