Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Compared with the corresponding period of 2023, the prices of industrial products increased by three percent in last year’s fourth quarter.

According to official statistics, the mining and quarrying sector grew by 6.7 percent, while the processing industry saw a 3.1 percent year-on-year increase.

“The prices in the electricity and gas supply and air conditioning sector remained at the same level on average as in Q4 2023,” stated a press release issued by Monstat.

Compared with last year’s third quarter, the prices of industrial products increased by 1.1 percent in the fourth quarter.

The mining and quarrying sector saw a 2.9 percent decrease compared with the third quarter, while the processing industry grew by 1.2 percent.

“In the electricity and gas supply and air conditioning sector, the prices remained at the same level on average as in the third quarter,” stated the press release.
