Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic has said that there can be no developed Montenegro without its strong and economically developed northern region, expressing commitment to creating conditions for a better life for the citizens of Plav.

Milatovic congratulated the citizens of Plav on the Municipality Day, as well as Mayor Nihad Canovic, President of the City Council Alen Balic, and members of the City Council.

“The Plav Municipality Day is another opportunity for us to express commitment to jointly building a European Plav and a European Montenegro. We are determined to work on creating conditions for a better life for the citizens of Plav and the entire northern region, as there can be no developed Montenegro without its strong and developed north,” stated Milatovic.

According to a press release issued by the President’s Information Service, he reiterated his commitment to attracting investments and creating jobs.

“To succeed in that, we must work even more actively on improving road, utility, and other infrastructure. It is essential to revitalize and tap the exceptional natural potentials of Plav, such as Plav Lake, the natural beauties of Mount Visitor and Prokletije National Park, in the tourism industry,” said Milatovic.
