At the end of August, the Ministry of Finance launched a second public call for the long-term lease of state-owned land for a period of 30 years for the construction of a wind farm in the Municipality of Savnik.
The land located in the cadastral municipality of Malinsko, covering two plots with a total area of 635,300 square meters, is offered for lease for purpose of designing, building, operating, and maintaining a wind farm with an installed capacity of 6.6 megawatts (MW) per wind turbine.
The application deadline is Monday until 1 p.m., while the public auction will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Ministry.
The initial annual lease for the property amounts to €176,400. The annual lease price will be adjusted based on the corresponding annual inflation rate determined in Montenegro.
The public auction is open to all domestic and foreign individuals, companies, and consortia if they have purchased the auction documentation, paid a deposit amounting to five percent of the initial lease price, signed the draft contract, and registered as participants in the auction.
The applicants are also expected to have experience in the field of designing or constructing wind farms and prove that they have achieved a positive financial result individually for each of the last two business years.
