Ukrainian PM with Komšić and Bećirović on assistance in demining and rehabilitation of soldiers

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met in Kyiv with Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić and member of the Presidency Denis Bećirović.
“We appreciate this visit, as well as the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Crimea Platform and in the events dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day,” said Denys Shmyhal, announced the Ukrainian Government Website.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine noted the importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina joining the EU sanctions policy. The parties also discussed the challenges Ukraine faces as a result of Russian aggression. In particular, demining and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers.
“The experience of Bosnia and Herzegovina in these areas is important for us. I propose to resume the activities of the Joint Ukrainian-Bosnian-Herzegovinian Committee to identify future areas of mutually beneficial cooperation,” the Head of the Ukrainian Government said.
Denys Shmyhal thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina for its humanitarian assistance and support for Ukraine at all international platforms.
