Albania, as a tourist destination on the radar of many tourists around the world, even this year has attracted the attention of many foreign citizens eager to explore it.

The number of passengers through “Mother Teresa” International Airport reached 5.2 million by September 25, breaking the record set throughout 2022.

Preliminary data show that Albania was visited by about 7.2 million foreigners during the January-August period of this year, recording an increase of 27%.

Due to the long coastline, Albania boasts several beaches, from north to south, such as in Velipojë in Shkodra, in Shengjin, in Durrës, Vlora, Himarë and Sarandë, which are frequented from May to October.
