ZAGREB, 4 Dec (Hina) – The CroAGRO, Food and Healthy Living, and Modernpak & Integrafika exhibitions opened on Thursday at the Zagreb Fair, bringing together more than 360 exhibitors from 27 countries across more than 14,600 square metres of exhibition space in six pavilions.

Renata Suša, director of the Zagreb Fair, said at the opening that CroAGRO was marking its fifth edition and had become Croatia’s leading agricultural trade show, showcasing the latest machinery, modern technologies and educational content addressing key issues in the sector’s development.

“The Food and Healthy Living Fairs bring together producers who value quality, sustainability and authenticity. Many products can be purchased directly from producers at promotional prices, allowing visitors to support small businesses. This year’s programme also features a large number of gluten-free exhibitors,” Suša added.

She said visitors to Modernpak & Integrafika would find packaging manufacturers, machinery producers, printing technologies and experts from the creative industries.

Ana Pavičić Kaselj, head of Zagreb’s Office for the Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, said the city “continuously supports agricultural production through various programmes in cooperation with the (agriculture) ministry and Zagreb County, and promotes locally produced food and organic products.”

The fairs run until Sunday. Tickets cost six euros, while admission is free for students, pensioners and people with disabilities.
