Readiness expressed to develop joint projects

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, Montenegro and Serbia are ready to develop joint projects that will contribute to the improvement of economic relations between the two countries and bring tangible benefits to the citizens.
Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Djurovic has met with a delegation from Serbia led by Minister for Internal and External Trade Tomislav Momirovic.
“They discussed the possibility of strengthening bilateral economic relations and enhancing trade exchange between Montenegro and Serbia,” stated a press release issued by the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism.
In order to enhance the attractiveness of both countries as tourist destinations, Djurovic pointed out the possibility of joint promotion in the markets of third countries.
“Readiness for the development of joint projects that will contribute to the improvement of economic relations between the two countries and bring tangible benefits to the citizens was reiterated at the meeting,” stated the press release.
Particular attention was paid to the success of the Stop Inflation campaign in Montenegro, its benefits, and its contribution to the economy, which served to a large extent as the basis for launching the Better Prices initiative in Serbia.
“It was concluded that a focus should be placed on investing in infrastructure, with emphasis on further motorway construction, railway reconstruction, and the development of the potentials of the Port of Bar,” stated the press release.
