Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Alternative Montenegro has called on all citizens to boycott all forms of shopping on Friday, during the global economic blackout.
The NGO stated that the boycott of retail chains, which had started a month ago in Croatia and was followed by Montenegro, and then other countries in the Balkans, was now finally an example of expressing dissatisfaction on a global level.
“On Friday, the global boycott will also be joined by the United States (US), as well as many European countries, including Romania, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. The information about the boycott is spreading so quickly that we expect nearly half of the world’s countries to join in, expressing dissatisfaction with the increasing wealth of the rich and the deteriorating quality of life for ordinary people,” Alternative Montenegro posted on its Facebook page.
In cooperation with organizations from Serbia and Croatia, Alternative Montenegro is joining the boycott and urges all citizens of Montenegro to boycott all forms of shopping on Friday.
“On that day, a clear message should be sent in Montenegro and around the world – that the citizens make the decisions,” said Alternative Montenegro.
