Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The European Parliament has adopted the Reform and Growth Facility for the Western Balkans, through which Montenegro gains access to over €400 million in favourable loans and grants for implementation of reforms.

Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorcevic stated that this instrument would help boost the Montenegrin economy, fulfil the goals of the reform agenda, and bring Montenegro closer to joining the family of European democracies.

“This initiative reflects the EU’s intention to expedite the integration of Western Balkan countries, with gradual participation in the single European market, encouraging faster attainment of EU economic standards,” Gorcevic posted on the social media platform X.
