The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has announced that he has appointed KSF colonel Ejup Macedonci to the position of Minister of Defense.

Prime Minister Kurti announced in a post on Facebook that he has accepted the resignation of the current ministry, Armend Mehaj, which according to him was done because of family issues.

“Today, at the request of the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, I accepted his resignation. The request for release from duty comes for the family. I thanked Minister Mehaj for his continuous work, impressive contribution, regular cooperation and his exemplary commitment from the first day of taking office. I appointed Ejup Macedonci as the new minister of defense, with whom we have cooperated so far in other functions”, wrote Kurti.

Recently, Maqedonci was an officer at the start of the large exercise “Defender Europe 23”.

Maqedonci, who has a long military experience, is also in the Kosovo Liberation Army.
