Greece will once again be present at the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), participating this year with modern and interesting publications, as well as a rich programme of parallel activities.

The Greek stand, organised and staffed for the second consecutive year by the Embassy of Greece in China, displays recently translated publications, granted by the Department of Letters of the Ministry of Culture, as well as selected Greek-Chinese publications from the library of the Greek Embassy.

In addition to the exhibition section, this year’s Greek presence at the 30th BIBF includes participation in book presentations on Greek antiquity and open thematic discussions, as well as educational quizzes and games.

The Greek ambassador to China, Evgenios Kalpyris, during a special ceremony on Friday, awarded the winners of the children’s painting competition on the theme of Greek mythology, which was held on the sidelines of BIBF.
