Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Bilateral relations between Montenegro and China have advanced in the area of infrastructure, exemplified by successful collaboration on the first section of the Bar-Boljare motorway project.

Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogovic has met with a delegation of the Chinese Embassy, led by the Deputy Head of Mission and Charge d’Affaires, Lu Fangqing.

“The parties discussed potential opportunities for further enhancing the traditionally strong relations between Montenegro and China,” stated a press release issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.

The bilateral ties have particularly advanced in the field of infrastructure, exemplified by the successful collaboration on the first section of the Bar-Boljare highway project.

“It was concluded that maintaining ongoing dialogue and concretizing initiatives for mutual knowledge and experience sharing was essential to fostering closer collaboration,” stated the press release.
