Over 200,000 citizens are expected to join the “Justice, Not Politics” march on February 17 in Pristina, the “Liberty Has a Name” civic platform said today in a media conference.

From the “Liberty Has a Name” platform, Eliza Hoxha emphasized that in two days, the capital’s square “will not be just a public space, but the heart of Kosovo that beats in unison,” calling the march a testament to civic unity in the “problem is justice, dignity and respect, and history is for sale.”

“We expect over 200 thousand citizens, it will be the largest march in the history of a free Kosovo, but its greatness is not measured only by numbers, it will be measured by our calmness, our discipline and dignity and the seriousness of the message that we will convey that day. We are not taking to the streets to regulate tensions, but we are taking to the streets to show dignity. We are taking to the streets to demand justice for Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi and their friends”, she emphasized.

Hoxha added that during these weeks they have seen an extraordinary mobilization of citizens for the march of February 17.

Not seeing this, Ismail Tasholli participates in the “Liberty has a Name” platform, announcing that there are confirmations of participation from Albanians in the region and from the diaspora in Europe.

Tasholli called on all citizens to take to the streets with their families on February 17, in a peaceful, dignified and inclusive march.
