TIRANA, September 18/ATA/ Prrenjas Municipality Ensemble won the 11th edition of the Folklore and Peace Festival that was held in Agropoli, Italy.
The representative of the group of Albanian artists Ardit Facja told the Italian media that they felt honored to represent Albania in this event, where they, as a young group, also went to have fun.
The audience as well as the media of neighboring countries did not remain indifferent when they saw the famous dance of Rrajca. The Prrenjas ensemble performed several dances, but Rrajca’s dance was the one that was evaluated by the jury.
The organizers of this festival said that activities like these convey to the young people messages that we cannot move forward without the culture and traditions that are our roots.
The festival, already a tradition, moves forward thanks to the values it promotes, peace and intercultural relations in the region.
