Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) announced it has established a Cyprus – Malta Business Association in a bid to promote, expand and encourage business activities between the two countries.
The Association, which will operate under the CCCI, will aim to promote and encourage trade and economic ties and cross border investments between Cyprus and Malta, to act as a leverage between the government of Cyprus and Malta with a view to improving and expanding trade ties between the two countries and to maintain networking and communication between businesses of both countries, serving as a reference point for businesspeople.
The Association has 14 founding measures and it is chaired by Ronald Attard CEO of EY Cyprus and Malta.
The establishment of the Association marks a new chapter in the ties among Cyprus and Malta, offering opportunities for develop and strengthen collaboration in the business sector, the CCI said in a press release.
