ZAGREB, 12 May (Hina) – The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for February 2025 amounted to €1,627, representing a nominal increase of 4% compared to January and a 13.1% increase compared to February 2024.

The median net salary for February was €1,332, meaning that half of employed residents of Zagreb earned less than that amountВ and half earned more.

According to data from the City Department for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for February was paid in the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, amounting to €4,039.

The lowest salary was paid in other personal service activities, amounting to €943.

Compared to the average monthly salary at the national level for February, which stood at €1,416, the average net salary in Zagreb was €211 higher.

The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for February 2025 was €2,327, representing an increase of 4.6% compared to the previous monthВ and a 14% increase compared to February 2024.
