The average monthly net salary paid per employee for July 2023 in the Federation of BiH was 1,257 KM and was nominally lower by 0.4 percent, and in real terms lower by 0.1 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary for July 2023 is nominally higher by 12.0 percent, and in real terms higher by 9.0 percent.

The analysis of data by activities in 2010 compared to June 2023 shows that the largest decrease in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in transportation and storage by 3.2 percent, production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 2.3 percent and health and social protection activities by 2.1 percent.

In July 2023, the total number of employees in the Federation of BiH was 541,078. Compared to the previous month, the number of employees decreased by 0.4 percent.
