SARAJEVO, July 18 (FENA) – Slovenia and Croatia are among the most preferred destinations for work among workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the latest survey by the MojPosao.ba portal.
The largest number of respondents expect a minimum salary in the range of 2,000 to 3,000 euros. These expectations are aligned with their desire for better living standards and working conditions.
It was stated that better wages, living and working conditions are the key motivators that attract our workers to look for opportunities in the countries of the region.
The research revealed that respondents are most interested in working in the catering, IT, construction, medicine, transport and logistics sectors.
The main reasons for looking for a job outside BiH, but within the region, include professional development, better working conditions and social security. Workers from BiH are looking for competitive wages, job security and the possibility of professional development from potential employers in the countries of the region.
According to the research results, most respondents are ready to work permanently in the countries of the region, while many are not sure if they would ever return to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
