SARAJEVO, November 15 (FENA) – The U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a photo exhibition by U.S. Ambassador Michael Murphy, featuring photographs he took during his time in BiH.
The exhibition “Photographic Memories” officially opened last night at the History Museum of BiH.
At the exhibition’s opening, Ambassador Murphy expressed his satisfaction with having the opportunity to showcase Bosnia and Herzegovina through his photographs.
“As many know, I am truly passionate about photography, and during my time, my mandate in BiH, I spent as much time as I could traveling across Bosnia and Herzegovina, photographing its natural beauty and historical sites. But tonight is not about my photography skills; it’s about showcasing the beauty of your wonderful country,” said Ambassador Murphy.
He added that there are so many beautiful places in this country where you can experience its natural beauty, as well as many significant, important historical locations.
“This country has so much to offer all of you, not only to you but to the entire world,” the US Ambassador in BiH emphasized.
According to him, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a beautiful country full of wonderful people who truly deserve a high-quality, beautiful future.
“What I want to say is that I truly love Bosnia and Herzegovina. I hope you will see that through this exhibition. I also hope I have managed to present your country in the right way. The exhibition will be open next week at the History Museum of BiH. I hope people will come and visit the exhibition so we can, in some way, celebrate the beauty of this country,” concluded Ambassador Murphy.
