Podgorica, (MINA) – The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the U.S. Embassy in Montenegro have signed the agreement on cooperation within the GLOBE program that will improve scientific literacy of students.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Andjela Jaksic Stojanovic and U.S. Ambassador Judy Rising Reinke.
According to the press release, they expressed satisfaction with the fact that Montenegro became the 128th country that joined the international scientific and education “The Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment” program.
“With the support of NATO and federal scientific agencies that sponsor GLOBE, this program involves students in the scientific process and improves their scientific literacy”, the press release stated.
The Ministry noted that two high schools from Montenegro will become part of a large family of over 40,000 schools involved with the program.
