TIRANA, Aug 4 /ATA/ – Porto Palermo Festival, an event aimed at promoting sustainable tourism in Albania’s south, is back for its fourth edition during this summer tourist season with 12 artists set to perform in 12 magical evenings at Ali Pasha castle, one of Albania’s most beautiful historic and cultural heritage sites, the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja said on Saturday.
The Festival’s first night opened the series of events at the historic castle, with the performance by jazz music icons, including Elina Duni and Eda Zari, accompanied by Rof Luft and festival organizer Olen Cesari.
“The renowned artists came together in a unique and synchronised performance to grant the audience an unforgettable experience on this summer evening,” Gonxhja said in a social media post.
The Festival is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation and it brings together 12 artists, 12 magical evenings interspersed by voices, melodies and wonderful performances, from Thursday to Sunday from August 1 to 18
The Porto Palermo Festival will see the participation and the performances by some of most acclaimed Albanian contemporary music artists, including Elina Duni and Eda Zari, classical music star Inva Mula, singers Marsela Çibukaj, Vitmar Basha, Dren Abazi, as well as leading international musicians, namely Manuela Villa, Lavinia Mancusi etc.
