Prime Minister Albin Kurti will stay tomorrow for a working visit to North Macedonia, a few days after the incident at Skopje Airport with President Vjosa Osmani, who was using the airport for a private trip.
The spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo, Përparim Kryeziu, told KosovaPress that during this visit, which was agreed to take place on July 20, Prime Minister Kurti will be accompanied by government cabinet ministers.
“There (Kurti) will have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia (Hristian Mickoski), with whom they will discuss bilateral relations, regional cooperation and infrastructural projects of interest to the two states”, said Kryeziu.
Let’s remember, the incident at the Skopje Airport with the president of Kosovo happened after the airport security asked Vjosa Osmani to hand over her personal phone.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo has sent a note of protest to the official Skopje, asking for clarification regarding this case, while the Macedonian authorities have announced that the police and the prosecutor’s office will investigate the case.
