Podgorica, (MINA) – A total of186 detainees in the Reprimand Prison are on hunger strike, the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) announced, stating that the health condition of the detainees is continuously monitored.

The UIKS stated that the current health status of all detainees participating in the strike is stable.

According to the press release, Human Rights and Freedoms Protector Sinisa Bjekovic visited the Reprimand Prison on Monday.

“During the visit, Bjekovic spoke with several detainees who expressed their desire for direct communication and expressing their views and remarks, which fall within the competence of the institution of the Protector”, the statement said.
