Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 32,600 unemployed people in Montenegro at the end of August, three percent fewer than in July.

According to a monthly report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate stood at 11.07 percent at the end of August, down from 13.05 percent in the same period last year.

Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 9,160 newly employed workers.

Approximately 17,440 vacancies have been advertised in that period.
