The Members of Parliament of Kosovo and Albania today approved the mutual declaration of both countries, through which they aim to move forward.
This joint declaration was read by the Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca. He stated that throughout the history of the Albanian nation, there have been disagreements, but unity has always prevailed.
The Speaker of Parliament expressed that the purpose of this meeting is to coordinate the national agenda for the realization of the strategic objectives of both countries.
While reading this mutual declaration, Konjufca said that the cooperation between the two countries has never been more intensive.
Konjufca said that it is concerning that Kosovo’s application for candidate status in the EU has not been addressed.
Konjufca said that both parliaments condemn the attacks on the territory of Kosovo and call on Serbia to hand over the perpetrators.
The Parliaments of Kosovo and Albania held their first joint meeting on November 27, 2022.
