The digital platform where citizen diplomacy is expected to be strengthened is launched
The “KosovaDiplo365” platform has been launched, where the stories about the journey of Kosovo and its citizens in the global digital sphere have been placed.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that through this platform, citizen diplomacy will be strengthened.
According to him, “KosovaDiplo365” will serve as a digital document of Kosovar history and culture.
“As a government, we strongly believe in the role that every citizen can have as diplomats. Our citizens are the most precious resource of our Republic and play a vital role in the transmission of culture, identity, heritage, history and above all the values and progress of our country and people. It is our citizens who enable the strengthening of our connection with the world, but also the recognition of our promenade for the history it holds”, he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Liza Gashi, said that this platform will enable the engagement of diplomatic citizens in strengthening the image of Kosovo and its connection with the world.
“Kosovo has a new group of diplomats that is growing every day both inside and outside the country and is taking a very active role in representing the Republic”, Gashi emphasized.
On the other hand, the co-creator of this platform, Kushtrim Xhakli, showed in detail what the “KosovaDiplo365” platform includes.
“We have a digital platform for indexing 365 living narratives about Kosovo, documents of Kosovar history, heritage and culture. The platform includes 365 historical events, success stories, contextual links between events and daily information. Also mobilization of the digital community for every citizen who wants to contribute in this case”, he said.
The launch of this platform was made in cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora and the IPKO foundation.
