Strategic partnership between ANA-MPA and ETBA VIPE to promote Greek industry

The Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) and ETVA VIPE signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday.

The agreement was signed on behalf of ANA-MPA by CEO Christina-Dimitra Synarelli and on behalf of ETVA VIPE by CEO Athanasios Psathas, in the presence of ANA-MPA President Aimilios Perdikaris.
In her statement, Synarelli emphasised that the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) and ETVA VIPE for the operation of the hybrid information platform “ETVA VIPE Studio” represents a milestone of strategic importance for the Agency.

Through this initiative, ANA-MPA is focusing on a key pillar of the Greek economy, highlighting the work of domestic industry and enhancing its public visibility.

“ETVA VIPE, as a central body supporting industrial activity, and ANA-MPA, as a public pillar of information, are joining forces to operate an innovative communication channel. This channel connects businesses and local entities with the media and the general public, making a substantial contribution both to enhancing the extroversion of Industrial Areas and to shaping a modern, reliable, and sustainable information model with a focus on innovation and sustainable development,” she added.

She also underlined that this renewed collaboration between ANA-MPA and a market entity marks the third such agreement within the past 12 months. “This fact clearly demonstrates the effectiveness and added value of the Agency’s specific multimedia and innovative journalistic service, which leverages the capabilities of modern communication technologies, online platforms, and social media,”  Synarelli noted.
Finally, she pointed out that “this collaboration also highlights the distinct institutional role of ANA-MPA within the domestic information ecosystem, as the Agency acts as a bridge between businesses, institutions, and society. Remaining true to the public nature of information, it plays a key role in strengthening transparency and meaningful public dialogue on development and sustainability.”

In his statements, ETVA VIPE CEO Athanasios Psathas emphasised that the collaboration with ANA-MPA is part of ETVA’s strategy for partnerships aimed at bringing industry closer to society. ANA-MPA, Psathas noted, serves as a pillar of information across Greece as the country’s primary national news agency.
“Within this context, and at this year’s Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), together with the Municipality of Thessaloniki, we are highlighting the dynamism of Greek industry and the employment opportunities available to the residents of Thessaloniki at the largest Business Park in the Balkans – the Thessaloniki Business Park in Sindos,” he added.

Also present at the signing of the agreement were, on behalf of ANA-MPA, the Head of the Research, Development, and Commercial Exploitation Directorate, Giannis Georgiou, and Chief Economic Editor, Nikos Drossos. On behalf of ETVA VIPE the Head of the Communications Department Giorgos Alimonos was in attendance.

The ETBA VIPE Studio will operate from Wednesday, September 3, to Friday, September 5, 2025, on the eve of the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), in an open-air studio located at Aristotelous Square.

As part of its operation, interviews produced by ANA-MPA will be hosted, featuring figures from the fields of industrial production, the economy, local government, and national politics. The topics will cover a broad range, including:The development of local and regional industry, economic growth, corporate social responsibility and ESG strategies for sustainability and the green transition.
The interviews will be broadcast live through:

the ANA-MPA website (www.amna.gr)

the dedicated microsite (www.amna.gr/etvavipestudio)

At the same time, reports from the interviews (in text and video format) will be made available to the media through ANA-MPA’s subscription services, as well as to the public via the above-mentioned online platforms. The news content from the ETBA VIPE Studio will also be included in ANA-MPA’s free daily Business Newsletter, “ epicheirein”, which covers economic and business news.

As part of the programme, four panel discussions will be organised, each focusing on different economic and business topics. These discussions will take place at the headquarters of ETBA VIPE in Thessaloniki, located within the Sindos Industrial Area.

The collaboration between ANA-MPA and ETBA VIPE was inaugurated in September 2024 with the first operation of the ETBA VIPE Studio at the Sindos Industrial Area (link), followed by a similar cooperation in the Komotini Industrial Area (link). In the near future, there are plans to expand this initiative to other Industrial Areas across the country.
