TIRANA, September 15/ATA/ A lot of citizens gathered on the weekend in Pogradec for the festival of Koran, the unique fish in the world, the lake speckled trout.

At the Odeon of the city, there was held the Koran cooking, where the citizens enjoyed the different dishes prepared by restaurant chefs and Pogradec housewives.

During this season, there were put about 2 million spawns into the lake. The amount of spawn increases year by year, showing the increased attention of the Albanian state for the protection and increase of this endemic species.

In the evening, the citizens were entertained by the live performance of the singer Dren Abazi and the Zig Zag Orchestra at the Odeon.

This activity was organized for the first time by the municipality of Pogradec.
