Podgorica, (MINA) – The Ministry of Health plans to amend the law to make Montefarm competitive on the market, said Minister of Health Vojislav Simun, adding that there is no plan to privatize this pharmaceutical company.

Speaking at the press conference, presenting the results of the ministries of Health, Science, Education and Innovation and Labor and Social Welfare, he said that the state does not plan to transfer Montefarm to private ownership.

“No, that is not our plan, the plan is to strengthen Montefarm. The fact is that we have to change the legal regulations, through laws on health care and insurance, it is clear that Montefarm cannot participate in tenders at the moment, but by changing the legal regulations, it would become competitive”, said Simun.
