Romania sweeps up 25 medals at RoboChallenge 2024 competition

Bucharest – Romania finished the 15th edition of the international RoboChallenge competition with a remarkable tally of 25 medals – nine golds, and eight silver and bronze each.

“At the 15th international RoboChallenge competition held last weekend as part of the third robotic innovation event RoboFEST at the Bucharest National University of Science and Technology Politehnica, Romania recorded a remarkable feat, winning 25 medals. This performance placed it on top of the overall ranking of the competition, and reinforced its status as a leader in the field of robotics,” the organizers said in a release on Tuesday.

The podium was completed by Mexico with 15 medals, and Turkey with four medals.
