TIRANA, March 16/ATA/ The coach of the Albanian national football team Sylvinho  revealed today in a press conference the 26 players gathered for the two friendly matches against Chile and Sweden.

Asked about his expectations from the two friendlies against Chile and Sweden, Sylvinho  said, “I am satisfied with the team. Albania closed the Euro qualifiers in the most excellent way; we were the best of the group, but it was an effort of the whole team. We do not consider any match as friendly; so, we are facing two very strong teams. Chile is a team I know very well with players like Sanchez. The same can be said for Sweden, a very, very strong team, with players of very high levels, playing with teams like Man. City, Atalanta, etc.”

When asked if these two friendly matches are tests for the team that will be gathered for the “Euro2024”, Sylvinho  said that, “They are important, but not decisive. My staff and I do not forget anyone; we do not forget the journey we have made. This is the moment we can try as many players as possible.”

Albania is set to play versus Chile in Parma, Italy on March 22 and against Sweden on March 25 in Stockholm.
