Police have arrested a total of 60 adults and 13 minors on charges including drug trafficking and attempted murder in a sweeping operation across Italy, investigative sources said on Wednesday.

A total of 142 others, including 29 minors ,have been reported to judicial authorities for illegal possession of weapons and drug possession and trafficking.

Police seized stolen jewellery and cell phones, weapons and drugs and requested the shutdown of 600 social media profiles inciting hatred and violence, including against security officials.
