The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, called Serbia’s claim that the signing of the defense agreement between Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo is a threatening action, a propaganda. “Serbia is doing the same thing it has always done, which is lying,” said Osmani while discussing Serbia’s claim that a 1996 agreement has been violated. The President of the country stated that Serbia is the only source of instability in the region, according to KosovaPress.
The country’s president spoke on this topic after an event organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in collaboration with the WE for Women Entrepreneurs initiative in Kosovo. Among other things, Osmani said that historically, aggressive states like Serbia and Russia always try to present themselves as victims, writes KosovaPress.
On Tuesday, March 18, as part of strengthening cooperation in the field of defense, a trilateral joint declaration was signed between Albania, Croatia, and Kosovo. This agreement aims to strengthen the defense capabilities of the three countries, increase cooperation in the defense industry, and improve military interoperability through education, training, and joint exercises.
