The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during her stay in Iowa, United States of America, was received in a meeting by the mayor of Des Moines, T.M Franklin “Frank” Cownie.

Osmani thanked Cownie for the support given to Kosovo whereas she was closely acquainted with the premises of the municipality, where there was also a corner dedicated to the friendship between Kosovo and Iowa.

Together they also visited the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge

During her stay in Iowa, President Osmani also participated in the distribution of the main prize of the World Food Summit.

On Tuesday, President Osmani started a several-day visit to Iowa, United States of America.
