Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Compared with the corresponding period of 2024, the retail turnover in Montenegro increased by 6.8 percent in current and 2.4 percent in constant prices in this year’s third quarter.
In Q3 2025, the retail turnover was higher compared with the second quarter, by 19.9 percent in current and 18.6 percent in constant prices.
The Statistical Office stated that, in the third quarter, the retail turnover in motor fuel decreased 1.6 percent year on year and increased by 25.4 percent compared to Q2 2025.
“In the third quarter, the retail turnover in food saw a year-on-year increase of 6.6 percent, while it rose by 24.7 percent compared with the second quarter,” stated a press release issued by Monstat.
Retail turnover in pharmaceutical and cosmetic products saw a seven percent year-on-year increase in the third quarter, while it rose by 9.5 percent compared with the previous quarter.
Retail turnover in other non-food products increased by 8.2 percent year on year in the third quarter, while it was 15.9 percent higher than in the second quarter.
