President Vjosa Osmani, has said that Kosovo is determined to continue with dynamic reforms that further strengthen democracy, support the rule of law, and increase living standards for all citizens.

While speaking at the annual meeting of the leaders of the region within the Brdo-Brijuni Process, Osmani said that it is important for Kosovo to move forward even with the status of a candidate country in the EU “in accordance with the commitment of the EU for membership perspective for all the countries of the Western Balkans”.

Osmani has emphasized that Kosovo has marked significant steps of success in several aspects.

“Kosovo is a reliable partner, a good neighbor and a partner that works hard. Therefore, the opportunity for a greater mobility of our citizens in the Schengen area is also a great opportunity to prove this to everyone in the EU”, said Osmani.

Osmani also mentioned the progress in international indices related to the fight against crime and corruption, human rights, and the field of information technology.
