In the first eleven months of 2023, cruise ships made 635 trips in the Croatian Adriatic, 1.3% more than last year, bringing 860,000 visitors, an increase of 37.5%, according to the the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
A total of 85 foreign cruise ships visited the Croatian Adriatic in first eleven months of 2023, which is three percent more than in the same period in 2022
Most of the cruise ships flew the flag of Malta the Bahamas, andВ Panama.
Of the total of 635 cruise trips, 48.2% were made to Dubrovnik-Neretva County, 27.1% to Split-Dalmatia County, 12% to Zadar, 4.5% to Šibenik-Knin, 4.1% to Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Istria Counties.
Among the cities, Dubrovnik attracted the largest number of cruise ships (487), followed by Split (295), Zadar , Šibenik (24), Korčula, Hvar and Rovinj.
