MKC to host first solo exhibition by Martina Spasovska

The Youth Cultural Center (MKC) in Skopje will host the opening of the exhibition ‘Loud Silence’ by Martina Spasovska on Tuesday.

Spasovska is born in 1997, in Kumanovo, North Macedonia. Lives in Skopje. In 2016, she graduated from the Lazar Lichenoski High School of Arts and Design. In 2020, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje.

Her work has been exhibited in North Macedonia, New York, Austria, Greece, Kosovo and Turkey. She won 1st place at the 2015 International Fine Art Competition of Kratovo. Her creative production revolves around figurative painting, presented in a contemporary manner. Although a figurative painter, her focus has always been the emotional content rather than narratives. She works actively in communities and understands the arts as an innovative way to learn about the world and each other.
