Krišto: BiH Council of Ministers adopts the Growth Plan

SARAJEVO, September 30 (FENA) – The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today’s telephone session, adopted the Reform Agenda, which is one of the prerequisites for BiH to receive funds from the European Union’s Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto confirmed for FENA.

With this, the Growth Plan has been adopted, a key document for accessing European Union funds intended for Western Balkan countries.

Since the reform program for implementing the Growth Plan has been adopted, BiH should now submit the document to the European Commission and thereby prevent the loss of 108.5 million euros in EU funds.

The telephone session of the Council of Ministers of BiH began at 12:00, and voting lasted until 15:00.

The agreed document is expected to be forwarded to Brussels today.

To recall, in the previous two attempts, the Reform Agenda did not receive support because SNSD ministers Srđan Amidžić and Staša Košarac either refused to vote or voted against its adoption.
