IMF keeps Montenegro’s economic growth forecast for 2024 at the same level

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In its latest World Economic Outlook, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has maintained its economic growth forecast for Montenegro at 3.7 percent for this year.

In its April report, which was released today, the IMF forecast a growth of three percent for the Montenegrin economy for the next year, same as for 2029.

According to the IMF, Montenegro’s economy saw a six percent growth last year.

The IMF expects that the inflation rate will reach €4.2 percent this year and 2.7 percent in 2025.

The IMF publishes regular World Economic Outlooks two times a year, in spring and autumn.
