ZAGREB, 4 July (Hina) – Residential property prices in Croatia were 13.1% higher in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, according to data published on Friday by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.

Prices of newly built homes rose by 14.3% compared to the first quarter of 2024, while prices of existing residential properties increased by 12.7%.

On an annual basis, residential property prices in Zagreb increased by an average of 12.9%, prices along the Adriatic coast rose by 11.3%, and in other regions by 18.5%.

Compared to the fourth quarter of last year, housing prices across Croatia rose by 4.5% in the first quarter of 2025. New residential properties saw an average price increase of 6.4%, while existing homes went up by 4%.

In the first quarter of 2025, compared to Q4 2024, property prices increased on average by 4.9% in the City of Zagreb, by 3.3% on the Adriatic coast, and by 6.7% in other parts of the country.
