The promotion of the diversity of the Greek tourism experience and of destinations cherished by British travellers to the highly targeted audience of influencers and tourism professionals was at the heart of Greek National Tourism Organisation’s (GNTO) participation in the ‘Ultimate Influencer Event’ organised by the UK platform icelolly.com in London.
The event took place on June 11 and included presentations and networking sessions aimed at showcasing and promoting unique travel experiences via social media, at a time when the global travel industry is being transformed by the power of digital influence.
It brought together over 80 top British influencers and content creators specialising in areas such as nature, gastronomy, culture, and wellbeing-and Greece was the only country formally represented.
Eleni Skarveli, Head of the GNTO Office for the UK & Ireland, presented our country as an authentic, sustainable, and high-quality destination via communication channels directly connected to travellers-such as the platforms icelolly.com and TravelSupermarket.com.

Corfu follows in 11th place with a 14% increase, while Halkidiki recorded the largest weekly share increase, reaching +149%.
