SARAJEVO, July 24 (FENA) – Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zukan Helez, is in Turkey, where he will visit the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023), which will be held from July 25 to 28 in Istanbul.

The delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, headed by Minister Helez, will also hold a meeting with the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Yaşar Güler, at whose invitation Helez is coming to the IDEF fair.

The meeting with the Turkish colleague, as well as the visit to the IDEF fair, the delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH will use to consider different modalities of current and future modernization projects of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which friendly and partner Turkey plays a significant role.

The IDEF 2023 fair is one of the most important defense industry fairs in that part of the world, which is held every other year. This year, thousands of exhibitors from all over the world are expected, which will be visited by more than 400 different business, military and political delegations at the fair, announced the Press Service of the BiH Ministry of Defense.
