The American swimmer, who hails from Peja, is among the nine athletes who will represent Kosovo at the Olympic Games in Paris. Participation in the Olympics, according to swimmer Adell Sabovic, is the result of many years of work.

He says that he feels lucky to be among the best athletes who will represent Kosovo in these games.

In an interview for KosovaPress, Sabovic tells the reasons why he decided to compete for Kosovo, and not for the United States of America.

The swimming coach, Astrit Halili, says that even though Sabovic is in Kosovo, he is training with a special program of a coach from America.

Adell’s focus is now 100 percent on Kosovo, even though it shows that at a young age he had the opportunity to decide to represent the USA.

In Paris, the Olympic Games will begin on July 26 and end on August 11.
