Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Inspections in six coastal municipalities have resulted in 8,760 misdemeanour orders during the summer tourist season, with a total financial effects exceeding €4.1 million.
The results were discussed at a meeting of the Coordination Body for the Alignment and Monitoring of Inspections, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogovic.
The review focused on enhanced inspections conducted during the summer season, in line with the Government’s Action Plan for 2025.
From 30 June through 1 September, intensified inspections were carried out in Ulcinj, Bar, Budva, Tivat, Kotor, and Herceg Novi. Over 70 inspectors worked continuously for 60 days to monitor compliance across multiple sectors.
The inspections involved authorities from tourism, labour, health and sanitary, market, and food safety inspectorates, as well as the fisheries inspectorate and the Maritime Safety Administration.
