Divjakë-Karavasta park, perfect destination for weekend

Divjakë-Karavasta National Park is the perfect destination to spend the weekend and to enjoy the beauty offered by flamingos and other birds.

The National Agency of Protected Areas shared today images of the flamingos that have occupied the Divjakë-Karavasta park.

The playful birds attract many visitors to watch them in the early morning sun.

In recent years, the bird-watchers observe them in the natural habitats where they live.

The flamingos always live in groups, from small groups to hundreds of thousands. Birds take to the air in groups and fly hundreds of kilometers during the migration period. The flight takes place in long or V-shaped lines until they reach their destination – a saltwater lake, which is an excellent place to build a nest and raise the young.
