ZAGREB, 22 April (Hina) -Croatia’s economy grew by 3.4% in 2025, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday, revising up its initial estimate of 3.2% published in late February.

In the fourth quarter, GDP growth was revised to 3.9% year on year, up from a previously reported 3.6%.

The statistics office said the revision reflected updated data on taxes, subsidies, government expenditure and gross fixed capital formation to ensure consistency in national accounts.

Household consumption, the largest component of GDP, rose 2.8% year on year in the final quarter, 0.2 percentage points higher than previously estimated.

Gross fixed capital formation increased by 7%, revised up by 0.1 percentage points, while government spending rose 2.8%, below the initial estimate of 4.7%.

By quarter, GDP growth in 2025В stood at 3.6% in the first quarter, 3.8% in the second, 2.6% in the third and 3.9% in the fourth, according to revised data.

The fourth quarter marked the 20th consecutive quarter of economic growth.
