Cooperation seen as the key to success

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Montenegro expressed interest in the main upcoming changes in tax and fiscal policy, highlighting the importance of timely involvement of the private sector in the regulatory drafting process.

Minister of Finance Novica Vukovic and Director General for Tax and Customs System Biljana Peranovic participated in the first AmCham Rule of Dialogue working breakfast along with representatives of the AmCham Board of Governors.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry, they met with President of the AmCham Board of Governors Svetlana Vuksanovic, Executive Director Marko Mirocevic, and Ambassador of the United States of America to Montenegro Judy Rising Reinke, Honorary President of AmCham, and her team.

It was concluded that it was very important to have a transparent and inclusive approach to the implementation of the announced reforms, which would be covered by the 44th fiscal strategy.
