The XXI edition of TIFF – Tirana International Film Festival closed on Saturday evening.

The TIFF closing ceremony was also attended by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

He appreciated the Marubi Academy for its contribution to culture and art in the city of Tirana.

“When something happens in the city it’s an event, but when it happens every year and with the same seriousness, it turns into a beautiful tradition. Tirana has played host to countless activities, but this festival is showcasing something that impacts people deeply because it is a cathedral, a temple of thinking and reflection. For this I am grateful to you”, said Veliaj.

This festival, one of the longest running in the country, selects films which qualify for the Oscars and the European Film Awards.
